ALL GAMES ARE DOUBLE HEADERS
First team listed is home team and must supply new ball. Second team listed must supply good used ball. Switch home teams for the second game but use the same softballs. Games start at 6:00 and 7:20. You must pay the umpire $12 per game. Winning team call in scores to Kathy at 722-1512 or email at KStellema@comcast.net League fee is payable to Kathy Stellema by the third week.

League Rules and Regulations
All players must attend one church service a week, coaches are responsible for attendance. There will be no smoking, swearing, drinking alcohol or showing poor sportsmanship. Those behaviors can be cause for removal from the field. Team uniforms should consist of shirts that cover the shoulders and mid-thigh length shorts. Entry fee is due before the season starts. Please make checks payable to Kathy Stellema.
USSSA rules plus the following:
-home team is listed first on the schedule for the first game; they are away team for
the second game
-home team supplies one new ball (11”), away team one good used ball
-mercy rule is 15 after 5 or 12 after 6 innings
-can have any number of additional hitters and they can enter the game anytime
-can start game with 7 players but must finish with at least 7 players otherwise you must
take an out each time the exiting player was supposed to bat
-games are 1 hour and 15 minutes
-forfeit times are 6:10 and 7:30, cannot start an inning after 7:15 or 8:35
-rain outs are to be made up whenever the two coaches can agree on a date
-players must play in more than half the regular season games to play in playoffs
-3 and 2 count on the batters, 1 foul ball to waste
-must be 14 years old to play
-only the top 8 teams will play in the playoffs (single elimination)
- if the game ends in a tie, play international rules for one inning only
-in the event your team cannot play due to a church related activity the opposing team
coach and Kathy must be notified by the Saturday prior to the scheduled game
otherwise the game will be forfeited – it is up to the two coaches as to when
to make up that game
-if you forfeit a game you must still pay the umpire, if you start a game and it then gets
cancelled due to rain, the umpire keeps the money
Expenses Umpires - $12/game/per team*
Softballs - $24 – each team gets 6
Maintenance – field set up and chalk Wayne $200
Maintenance – field set up and chalk Calvary $400
Maintenance – field set up and chalk Belleville $400
Maintenance – field set up and chalk Bethany $200
Shirts – for winning team $150
Sanctioning fee - $15/team
Total fee due per team - $130 *(umpires are extra and playoffs are extra)*
