Divorce Care - A ministry of Hope and Healing There aren't many people that you know who truly understand the pain of separation or divorce. &nbspThis pain effects you, your family, and your friends.   This is the reason for DivorceCare at Merriman Road Baptist Church.

 

Divorce Care is series of 13 seminars conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing. &nbspMost importantly, you'll learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life. 

There are two parts to each weekly DivorceCare session. &nbspDuring the first 30-40 minutes of the meeting, the group watches a video tape featuring top experts on divorce and recovery topics. These tapes contain valuable information about recovering from divorce and are produced in an interesting-to-watch television magazine format. 
Following the video, the participants spend time as a "support group," discussing what is going on in the lives of the group participants and what was presented on that week's videotape. &nbspOur Focus here at MRBC is you and meeting your needs first.

Here at MRBC we meet every Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00PM at the church (rm 261 - Just follow the signs).   If this schedule does not work for you, there are many groups meeting throughout the Detroit area and Michigan at various times. & The Group Finder page will help you find a group meeting near you that is convenient to your busy schedule.
