We as His disciples today need to grow in our understanding and practice of a life of prayer. This become all the more apparent when we remember that we are engaged in spiritual warfare. To be able to stand in a world that has become increasingly dark we need to employ the spiritual weapons of the word of God and praying in the spirit at all times. Let us consider the importance of persistent prayer.
